Vincentia to Huskisson with Jervis Bay Dolphins

We set out to do the walk on the coastal path from Vincentia to Huskisson on Saturday morning. We had done this walk once before (when we had just arrived) - and now that whale season has begun - we thought we might catch a glimpse of one if we were lucky!

We came upon a sea of red. So much seaweed that the crashing waves were even red!

 They're building a new pathway that circles the HMAS Voyager memorial in Huskisson

While we had lunch at the Husky Pub - we watched dolphins coming right into harbour with the whale and dolphin watching boat. You can see one just behind the boat in this photo. 

One the walk back I noticed this memorial (from 1900)

I think the lorrikeets have taken over this house...bit of a block party!

The pod of dolphins stayed close to the shore and we were able to watch them swim around for quite a while. Chy-Anne snapped this photo from the Husky pathway. 

Near the end of the walk we sat on the beach and watched the dolphins - 

the perfect end to a great walk!
